This space is gorgeous – there is a serene, peaceful and joyful energy as you drive through the gate.  The indoor and outdoor space is absolute luxury.  The property served as a fantastic setting for our Corporate Retreat. There are plenty of seating areas inside and out for people to break into smaller groups or to just hang out. My favorite spot to relax was the pool area, and it was a great backdrop for our yoga class.

There are plenty of bathrooms, and the beds were super comfortable. There are many kitchens which each have large fridge’s and plenty of plates, silverware, and an ample assortment of glassware. Our plan was to get out and explore Kenwood a bit, but the property was so great we pretty much stayed on site the entire time. Having my coffee by the pool and enjoying the hawks flying through and watching the deer wander through the yard was a treat.

Thank you for being so wonderful and communicative and for providing us with such a stellar backdrop for our retreat. We are truly grateful for how perfect our stay was, and will re book this property again!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Colibri. What a beautiful, tranquil, remote place. Beautiful villa with everything what you need.  Fully stocked kitchen. Very nice beds. Normally I am not a good sleeper, but here I slept like a baby. Swimming pool was awesome. Great outdoor barbeque place and fire pit.  Everything was just perfect. Can highly recommend this place. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to go back to this hidden gem.

Hot tub, pool and exterior at Villa Colibri Sonoma

We loved this villa and are ready for a return visit! Many friends and family enjoyed the 7 days in wine country celebrating a 50th birthday and we all agreed that the property was perfect for us. The pool area was incredible and the hot tub and fire pit made for a relaxing evening after a day of visiting wineries. The guys grilled almost every evening at the outdoor kitchen. We had so much space ~ three couples enjoyed the main house – each bedroom had an en-suite bath. The two casitas were incredibly private each with a bedroom and bath and the carriage house was shared by several couples that did not stay for the full week. In total there were four kitchens not including the outdoor pool area which allowed everyone to start their mornings on their own time. We served breakfast in the main house every morning and enjoyed coffee by the fire pit on the patio off of the main house kitchen. There were several deer that frequented the property during the mornings and evenings. The property is conveniently located in Kenwood near many wonderful wineries. The property managers were very easy to work with and the couple of things that we called about were quickly addressed ~ which included not being able to locate a couple of the hairdryers – new ones were brought over within 24 hours and just a couple of other questions were quickly answered. Everyone is ready for a return visit ~ we definitely recommend this property.

This property has a lot going for it. Lots of bedrooms, separate spaces in the casitas and carriage house, lots of places to gather together, dinner seating for 20 and immaculate grounds. It was perfect for a large multi generational group.

The moment that the two gates opened was when we knew our stay was going to be an unforgettable experience. The entire property is absolutely breathtaking with the beautiful outdoor pool area, open space, and even a lake! The villa itself is extremely spacious. We lost count of the number of rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and living/guest spaces. Truly a gem in Sonoma County and we can’t wait to go back again. It was like a mini getaway to Italy but without having to book an airfare.

Dining table in front of fireplace at Villa Colibri Sonoma

When a friend recently invited me to a girls trip to the Sonoma wine country at a “beautiful villa”, I knew it would be a fun experience and I’d meet some new friends. At the time I wasn’t particularly concerned with the actual property and hadn’t seen pictures of where we were headed.

We all met up in San Francisco and drove east towards our destination. As we approached the address, I could tell that we were in for a treat. The “ Villa Colibri” estate is located in a peaceful, rural setting but within close proximity to shopping, wineries and world-class restaurants.

As we drove through the private gate into the beautifully landscaped courtyard, a sense of calm washed over me. I was surrounded by Tuscan-styled buildings with a vast lawn and a large, private pond in the distance.

To my right was the main building, a luxury villa with so many separate entrances, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens – it’s delightful. For wedding parties, corporate retreats or large, extended families, it would a perfect set-up where each person could have their private space but tons of living space and plenty of places for group activities as well.

The amenities are first-class. The house is immaculate and had every amenity required for a luxurious stay. I enjoyed the top-rated appliances in the main kitchen, laundry room and pool house barbecue areas. I didn’t personally use the facilities in the large conference-styled building or smaller casitas, but I expect them to be high quality as well.

The home was completely decorated by a professional designer (summer, 2019) and each room is tasteful and welcoming. The beds and linens are new, crisp and very comfortable. I was especially drawn to how quiet it is at night. Perfect for an amazing night’s sleep!

Our favorite gathering place was the pool area. Stunning! The pool itself is huge and gorgeous with waterfalls, a spa and a separate shallow wading pool. The all-new pool furniture is lovely and functional.

The property managers were extremely professional and it was obvious that they would be nearby if any detail needed tending to. I definitely plan to return to Villa Colibri for another delightful visit one day!

The property was enormous and beautiful. We felt like we were in an Italian Estate. Tyler couldn’t have been nicer and very communicative in the days prior to the stay. We didn’t realize how spacious the accommodations were.

We had 13 people and never felt even close to being cramped. The kitchen easily fit us all standing around the island. Let’s face it, everyone always spends their time in the kitchen around the island.

The neighborhood was beautiful and we were close to so many vineyards.

I would stay there again in a second!!!
