Villa Colibri Sonoma strives to provide services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities. We have established policies and procedures to ensure that we provide goods and services to all our customers in a manner consistent with this core value. We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities, continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying relevant accessibility standards.
It is our policy to remove barriers to full access to our services whenever that is readily achievable, and to develop services with accessibility standards considered. We are committed to ensuring the accessibility of our websites to persons with disabilities.
Measures to support accessibility
Villa Colibri Sonoma takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Providing continual accessibility training for our staff.
- Use of accessibility plugins to promote compliance and ease of use.
- Testing on multiple platforms to seek compliance.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Villa Colibri Sonoma is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Additional accessibility considerations
Although our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we have also applied some Level AAA Success Criteria: Images of text are only used for decorative purposes. In addition, we employ a dedicated plugin for ADA accessibility and perform constant monitoring and efforts to improve accessibility.
